So far April's weather has been disappointing, I'm sitting here with the fireplace on listening to the hail/rain hit the windows, this morning it was snowing and the temperatures were below zero. Today while driving in my car with the heat blasting, I took a fairly new highway which I find somewhat exciting, the last few years there has been much construction in our area and the results are pretty impressive. This highway has made it a bit easier for me to get around and I can see a lot of trucks using the route as well.
I'm not sure how the parkway got its name but it is to be called 'The Rt. Hon. Herb Gray Parkway', and will eventually connect to the new bridge which is to be called 'The Gordie Howe International Bridge', which will help keep traffic running smoothly in Canada's busiest land border crossing city.
I am impressed with the look and convince of the new parkway, and I think it'll be good for our city especially once the bridge is built in a couple of years.
